‘Supernatural’ season 11 spoilers: First look at Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki in ‘Plush’
Is there a lot to look forward to on “Supernatural” this season? I think a better question here would be when there is not much to look forward to. This is a show that has made a meal out of surprising you time and time again, and this past episode “Baby” has to be one of the best ones we’ve seen in quite some time. It was personal, it was fun, and it focused on what the show has fundamentally always been about: The relationship between two brothers who occasionally fight monsters at the same time.
For the rest of this article, we’re flashing forward to the upcoming November 18 episode entitled “Plush,” which is going to focus on a variety of different things … with one of the most notable ones being the return of Sheriff Donna once again to the world. This is the third straight season in which she has turned up, and she first made an appearance in one of our favorite standalone episodes from season 9 in “The Purge.”
The synopsis for “Plush” indicates that we are probably looking for the most part at another monster-of-the-week plot, but there is still something in here for those of you who are interested in seeing the further progression of Sam and his visions:
“Sheriff Donna (guest star Briana Buckmaster) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help after a horrific murder with supernatural elements happens in her town. Sam continues to have visions and asks God for help, which frustrates Dean.”
We have to assume that the episode is named “Plush” for a reason; maybe the victims are being turned into stuffed animals? Share some of your potential theories in the comments!
