Is ‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 23 new tonight on the Disney Channel?

Let’s be honest: We’ve certainly been rather spoiled throughout the month of October when it comes to all content pertaining to “Girl Meets World” on the Disney Channel. Not only has there been a regular episode, but you’ve also had a Halloween special and a three part “Girl Meets Texas” event that changed much of the game of the show … at least when it comes to the relationships between Riley, Lucas, and Maya.

So after all of these riches come a time for a little patience. There is no new episode tonight, and there will not be until the show returns on November 6 with “Girl Meets the Forgiveness Project.” (Note that for now, the title and air date are tentative.) The Disney Channel will probably release some sort of details on the story by the time we get around to next week, but we’re not quite there just yet.

Will you see some aftermath of what happened in Texas? It really all depends on whether or not this episode was filmed as more of a standalone, or if it was filmed before or after the “Texas” three-parter was. This show does have a tendency to film out of order.

For all of those who love these characters, don’t worry: We have a hard time thinking that the show will go the rest of the season without addressing in some way the aftermath of Texas; they just have a lot of other teenage troubles that they’re going to have to deal with at the same time.
