‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 5 preview: A key Pauley Perrette story in ‘Lockdown’
We’ve wanted there to be a great Abby story on “NCIS” for some time, and come next week with “Lockdown,” there is going to be a story that (finally) put her in the spotlight. Not only are we going to get a chance to see her do some of what she does well, but also take on some other duties as well in “Lockdown.” Is she going to be able to serve as a proper hostage negotiator, and keep a whole lot of people in danger safe? That’s something we are excited to get a chance to further see.
If you want to get some other news in terms of what to expect, we like to think the synopsis below offers up that and then some:
“While visiting a pharmaceutical lab on a murder case, Abby is trapped with no communication to the outside world after armed men take over the building and hold everyone hostage, on NCIS, Tuesday, Oct. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Tony Gonzalez, former NFL player and studio analyst for THE NFL TODAY on the Network and contributor for THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, guest stars as NCIS Special Agent Tony Francis.”
The Gonzalez appearance should be fun for NFL fans, even if for some reason this is continuing the rampant CBS tradition of promoting Thursday Night Football at every chance. This episode should be a very nice change of pace from what we have this week with “Double Trouble,” a show that is putting a different character in Vance firmly in the spotlight.

This will be the first episode this season that I will watch live. As it is Abby focused it looks like it will be a lot of fun like the old episodes of seasons past.
