‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 3 preview: Will Steve propose to Catherine?

Love is in the air on “Hawaii Five-0” next week, but there is no guarantee that this said love will actually be reciprocated. The next new episode is really going to be a significant one in the entire history of the Steve McGarrett character, as he is ready to pop the question to Catherine. The photo above is proof of that very thing!

Here’s the problem, and why we are so worried: This is not a show that guarantees happy endings. We’ve seen that time and time again. Even Kono, who had a wedding last week, had all of that turn around in a blink of an eye. The synopsis below doesn’t really give you any more information, but it does at least tell you that Danny’s nephew is also going to be turning up:

“While Five-0 investigates a scuba diver’s death from a gun recently used in another murder, McGarrett prepares to propose to Catherine, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Andrew Lawrence returns as Danny’s nephew, Eric, and Michelle Borth returns as Catherine Rollins.”

Given that we are so early in this season, there is a lot of time for almost everything to change. Let’s frame it in this way to perhaps remind you that there is always a chance that Catherine says no, returns later, and something could still work out. Then again, there is also a chance that she says yes, and then much of the rest of the season is about preparing for another big wedding. Time will tell.
