‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 2 spoilers: Bailey’s struggle, Amelia’s relationship, and more
It took ABC long enough to finally release some of the first details from Thursday night’s new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” entitled “Walking Tall,” and after spending so much time waiting the first question that enters our head is this: Why? There is really nothing about the synopsis below, via SpoilerTV, that strikes us as something that was really that shocking other than maybe (and this is a stretch) the promotion for Bailey. There’s a different way that the network could have worded it if they wanted to send this out sooner:
“The pressure is on as a determined Bailey tackles her first day as Chief; meanwhile, April’s marriage is in jeopardy and she finds herself unable to address her problems; Meredith struggles to juggle all her responsibilities and Amelia works to define her relationship with Owen.”
Rather than try to deal with every single one of these storylines all at once, let’s instead give you an individual take on all of them.
Meredith – Teaching, working at the hospital, and having a family is rough. We do hope that her story becomes something more than this.
Amelia – It’s nice that she and Owen are working on something. At this point, these two really do need some sort of happiness.
April – She needs to get creative when it comes to figuring out what Jackson needs from her. She has spend so much time focusing on healing herself that, while understandable, he hasn’t received much attention.
Bailey – This to us is the most interesting. Everyone already knows Bailey, but they don’t know her as the person who hands out orders. This transition may be a little bit more difficult for her to handle than she first realizes.
