‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: See Clark Gregg, Adrianne Palicki, more in cast photo!

There are many reasons at this point to enjoy Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD,” but one of the best things about the show from a publicity point of view is that ABC is definitely doing a great job at the moment when it comes to marketing the ever-changing cast.

Not every show out there likes to unveil new publicity photos every single season, mostly because it is both a time and a money thing. However, there are clearly some reasons to do this here:

1. The cast is almost always changing for this show. Last year Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood’s future was unclear at the time they were first aboard, and now they are at least going to be important components for the third season. Whether or not they stay in this position remains to be seen, but it is pretty great to see the two of them here.

2. This is a show that really needs the extra push for a variety of different reasons. For one, the ratings were not amazing for some of season 2, so they need to remind at least their established audience that they are out there … let alone everyone else.

3. Finally, there is so much superhero stuff out there right now, anything that “Agents of SHIELD” can do to stand out from the bold is great and highly recommended.

The new season is going to premiere on September 29, and one of the priorities right away is going to be seeing whether or not the team can adapt to the constant changes, which include the rise of Inhumans and whatever awaits Jemma Simmons at the moment.
