‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 1 video: Voight looks for help on the inside

The “Chicago PD” season 3 premiere is coming on September 30, and the story is going to start off with a major blast from the past for Voight. He is on a manhunt for Derek Keyes, a man who has seemingly kidnapped one of the members of his team. Can he get someone on the inside to help him? Well, as usual, it is all about the power of negotiation.

Basically, Voight is in a position here where he realizes that in order to get what he wants, he is going to have to give something back. What does this mean? It may consist of fulfilling a deal that was made in the past. As for how many other people are going to know about this operation, that’s a good question. We’ve never really gotten the sense that Voight is the sort of guy who is keeping track of everything in a tidy little notebook to tell the various members of Intelligence later.

What we do at least know for the time being when it comes to this episode is that one way or another, Lindsay is going to get involved in the operation to get Jay to safety. After falling off the wagon and completely in with the wrong people (namely her mother), this may be a way to get her back in the good graces of those on the force. Granted, she does still have to prove that she can handle a rescue mission.
