‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: What further challenges are coming Annalise’s way?

The second season of “How to Get Away with Murder” is going to premiere on Thursday, September 24, but for the sake of this article, we are focusing a little bit on what is coming up afterwards. Specifically, think in terms of the season’s second episode, one entitled “She’s Dying” … which is probably not a good sign. Then again, for the most part on this show we have a tendency to deal with characters who are already dead. Maybe this means some sort of bizarre hope for someone?

Anyhow, you can take a look at the synopsis below (via SpoilerTV); it is pretty clear from this that the show is going to pick up in some ways where the premiere left off:

“Annalise and her team are blindsided when investigators try to pin a new charge on the wealthy siblings she’s been hired to represent. Meanwhile, things for Annalise become even more difficult when she’s brutally cross-examined on the witness stand during Nate’s preliminary hearing.”

By the time we get to the end of this episode, hopefully we do get a little bit of a better sense as to what the long-term arc for the season is going to be. We imagine that there will be some sort of major case for Annalise to take on that does somehow become very mixed in with her personal life. After all, that is just how this show has a tendency to work, and it gets more complicated as time goes on.
