‘Ink Master’ season 6, episode 13 preview: The Super Bowl of tattoos
The competition is getting tight now on “Ink Master” season 6, but we are left with some amazing artists and would be thrilled to see any of them win after the stunning artwork they’ve produced this season. Tonight’s episode was easily our favorite of the season (you can check out our “A+” review of it here) and it was a nail biter when it came down to which artist was going home since we saw some titans in the bottom. This really should be anyone’s game to win.
“Ink Master” loves to tie in sports to this series as we have seen many NFL players come on the show to get tattooed and this season is no different. While tonight’s episode was heart warming and left us as a crying, sniveling mess on the floor, next week’s episode will be bringing the tough edge in full force. We will being seeing NFL players coming into the “Ink Master” studio to help the remaining artists give cool tattoos to 6 football superfans and while we know they want to give every canvas a great tattoo, we would think that tattooing with an NFL superstar standing beside you might put a little more pressure into the situation.
Also, as we’ve seen all season, the alliances will still be going strong as the house remains divided with Craig and Matt on one side, and Chris and Tyler on the other. Are the remaining artists going to be forced to pick sides? We saw Erik being forced into that situation tonight when he won the skull pick for the elimination tattoo and he’s someone who hasn’t needed anyone’s help all season. With Chris losing Dave Clarke, he’s looking to build a team of three once again to take out everyone else and get himself to the end with his alliance members.
