‘Gotham’ season 2 spoilers: The bodies will fall early

Over the past few weeks, one of the biggest questions that we’ve had with “Gotham” is just how it plans to move forward with such a massive cast. Just think about the core characters right now: Jim Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Barbara Keen, Leslie Thompkins, Oswald Cobblepot, Edward Nygma, Alfred, Lucius Fox, the mysterious character set to be played by Michael Chiklis, Selina Kyle, Bruce Wayne, and a variety of recurring villains who you are going to be seeing a ton of.

It seemed that at some point, the show would need to thin the herd a little, and they are going to be doing that at some point in the early going this season. As reported by TV Guide, at least two characters are probably going to be dead at some point before we get too deep into the season. Not only that, but one of them will rock Gordon to his core and completely change up the rest of the season for him.

Unless the show’s executive producers are really planning to do something that changes the entire game of the series, it is probably not that hard to speculate on who the dearly departed could be. Still, it is going to be about how they go as much as who they are.

As for who could be responsible, you really do have to look at Theo Galavan (James Frain), who will be assembling a crew of Arkham Asylum inmates including Jerome for a group entitled the Maniax … just because things are always so much cooler when you change the spelling of a word.
