‘Switched at Birth’ season 4 spoilers: Uncomfortable moments galore

When it comes to “Switched at Birth,” one of the things that you have to expect at the moment is that things are never going to become easier for characters on your way to a season finale; instead, they are only going to get even more uncomfortable.

In the case of the upcoming September 28 episode entitled “Borrowing Your Enemy’s Arrows,” some of the discomfort is going to come from seeing Tank return after what happened between him and Bay in the first half of the season; while it doesn’t seem as though there is anything terrible happening once again, that doesn’t mean that her seeing him will be any less difficult. On the flip side, Daphne is going to have to come to some tricky realizations when it comes to her relationship with Mingo as they play a game of “meet the parents.” The synopsis below offers up a little bit more in the way of details:

“Daphne and Mingo decide to introduce their parents at the Kennishes’ grill night, only to find Mingo’s father is the business manager John blames for his current financial problems. Bay has an awkward run in with Tank at the restaurant where he works.”

There are a number of major surprises that we expect to see unfold still before we make it to the end of the season, but there are still some episodes that are coming beyond that. Therefore, we see this almost a little bit of a foundation episode than anything that will close the door on any story.
