‘The Blacklist’ season 3 spoilers: See more James Spader – Megan Boone awesomeness in new promo

We admit that there were times where we were not completely on board with “The Blacklist” season 2, mostly because it took a while to really get going. Luckily, it seems like much of that is going to change right away with season 3.

First and foremost, what we’re happy to see in the new promo HERE is a sense of real high-octane action, and a very specific premise with Liz (Megan Boone) on the run with Red (James Spader) from the FBI. She has gone from the hunter to the hunted, and the more she figures out about her past, the more she may have her future decisions informed. She’s inexplicably tied to Red in ways that she cannot explain, and that swirl of emotions in her head should provide many a complication.

On more of a superficial level, you’re going to see Liz (sporting a blonde wig) and Red do some crazy things to continue their evasive tactics. We’ve seen the whole bit with locking up the woman at the end before, but some of the other stuff in here also looks particularly interesting.

You are going to have to wait until October 1 to see more specifically of what “The Blacklist” is going to bring to you, but for the most part right now, it does look as though you’ve got every reason in the world to be excited about checking out the show again. It’s going to be a little more serialized this time around as well, so you really are not going to want to miss an episode.
