‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: Alicia finds her independence in new promo

For all of those who love “The Good Wife,” the good news is that the waiting is almost over! Sunday, October 4 is the premiere date for season 7, and we have now one of the first previews courtesy of CBS. Let’s just say that it does a fairly good job of laying out what the landscape is going to be.

One of the things that the promo below really lays out is that after so many years of having to belong to a law firm with partners trying to control her, Alicia Florrick is finally independent. She can figure out what she wants to do next, the career she’s interested in pursuing, and even how involved she wants to be in Peter’s campaign. At the moment, could you really blame her if she just did not want to be around politics? Just remember for a minute or two here that she had the whole State’s Attorney campaign fall apart completely all around her.

There are some other funny moments crammed into this promo as well, namely learning a thing or two about how Eli is changing things up, and for him that includes changing his … smoothie policy? Yep, it’s happening! Also, you get to see more of Michael J. Fox in here, as well.

Hopefully there’s going to be an even more in-depth promo released over the course of the coming days. Therefore, we’re going to be presenting more scoop as it comes out. (Usually, a sneak peek comes out in the days before a premiere.)
