‘NCIS’ season 13 spoilers: Michael Weatherly teases big guest stars coming up
As a show with a dozen years of experience behind it, “NCIS” has at the moment what is a pretty unique and wonderful luxury: A huge array of guest stars to choose from at any second. They can design a cool story, and then figure out who from the show’s past they want to bring in for it. Sure, they can also create new characters, but there is always some fun that comes to appealing to the diehard fans who have been around more or less since the very beginning.
While we cannot confirm any particular guest star coming up this season, know this: There are some big ones still to come later this season! Allow us to submit the quote from Michael Weathlerly below (via TVLine) as some substantial evidence of this very thing:
“I have come to understand that there will be, later in the year, some guest stars that will melt the avid NCIS viewer’s brain.”
We have a pretty lengthy wishlist of people we’d like to see back on the show at some point, with Margo Harshman and frequent recurring player Diane Neal being pretty high up on it. Of course, there’s always Cote de Pablo, but the last thing we ever want to do in one of these stories is get someone’s hopes up for more Ziva without knowing if she will ever come back. We do hope that it happens, but it doesn’t seem to be on the horizon for at least the early part of season 13.

Forget wasting money on “big guest stars” to boost ratings and save the series…just have Ziva return…although…I do realize it won’t happen since MH doesn’t want her.

More than likely the guest stars who will “melt your heart” comment will be connected to some big Gibbs story. Isn’t everything?

Wow, seriously? Cote decided to go and do other things–and you come up with “MH doesn’t want her”? And you know this how? Close personal friends with Cote’s manager? Work for CBS? In the front office with everyone? Or just spreading the typical, internet, meaningless gossip as an anonymous poster? It appears, someone has left the bag of idiots open again……

Would love to see Margo’s character again for sure. I also hope for Marisol to show up and I’m very glad that Mimi Rogers will be back this season as well. Don’t care for Cote de Pablo at all. Don’t want to see this person on my favorite show anymore. Not after all that happened and she said. She doesn’t deserve to be back with these wonderful, talented and hard working people. Don’t care about Diane Neal either.

I don’t really get any chemistry between McGee and Delilah but the writers are trying to give McGee a story arc. Their episodes are okay, but IMO, not very compelling. I don’t mind Agent Borin but don’t really care if she comes back. I certainly don’t want to see Ziva come back. We’re already over flowing with melodrama with Gibbs and his never ending woes. I would however LOVE to see Jeanne Benoit back. While I don’t mind Zoe Keates (and Weatherly pretty much has chemistry with everyone) I thought that Tony’s best and most convincing romance was with Jeanne. I don’t need to see more people from Gibbs past. It’s just an over used plot device for Gibbs at this point.

The chemistry between McGee and Delilah isn’t that strong, it’s shining through every now and then but it’s still ‘weak’, not sure how to say it. Which is why I hope for her to comeback. I would love for the two of them to have a very strong scene of only these two. Keates is great for Tony now. Not sure how this will go on and if it goes on but I think atm she’s good for Tony. I don’t really ‘ship’ any pairing. Jeanne was a great and interesting story that would have provided lots of great scenes for Tony afterwards but the writers were way too quick going back to the Ziva stuff. Tony really fell for Jeanne and if she would come back I think it would make great stuff for Weatherly’s character. I find the Gibbs storylines very interesting, more than the Ziva ones we were forced to deal with. And although I’m definitely not the biggest Harmon fan I have to admit he’s one hell of a strong actor. It’s interesting for me to watch him. That’s just my opinion. I’m not a fan of romances on the show tho.
