‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6, episode 13 preview: Return date chatter following Sasha Alexander shocker
Tuesday night’s episode of “Rizzoli & Isles” really contained just about everything that you could want from a summer finale, at least in terms of some dramatic twists and turns that really shook up the show at its very foundation.
After watching it, one question pretty clearly stands out above all of the others: What in the world is going to happen next with Maura Isles? Sasha Alexander’s character was captured at the end of the episode, and this came after Jane spent so much time struggling under protection, and then thinking that it was Angela who was in the most danger.
We unfortunately cannot tell you too much on the back half of episodes for this season, other than suggesting that some of the craziest times could still be to come on the show since they have to try to resolve this cliffhanger for Sasha Alexander’s character in some meaningful way.
In terms of return dates, the one thing that we’ll tell you is that we are more than likely looking at a February return date, unless TNT wants to change things up and put the series on the air a little bit earlier in the year. The past two seasons have seen it return in February, so for the time being, we’re going to hold true to that pattern. Since the show has already been renewed for a seventh season (albeit a shorter one), you don’t have to worry about it going anywhere.

Need more Maura and Jane. Less Frankie. Angela’s role was better in this episode. Maybe when Jane rescues Maura their relationship will advance in a romantic way.

Need more of Maura Isles and the Jane Rizzoli of season 1-3. Less of Frankie and Angela. Better writing, continuity would be nice. Remember Tommy, writers? Or that Jane also had a turtle( sorry tortoise!) Lost of small details that doesn’t take a lot of time to actually bring into the episodes. The Bass explaination, Jo Friday’s sudden departure etc etc. Things that drives fans silly. we invest in our favorite shows and what we get is more often than not sloppy writing and annoying mistakes. It’s the 6th season, guys! Do better!

it was the best episode so far i was blown away i would like jane to be successful in finding maura and they capture the person reponsible but also to collapse into each other and redefine their friendship/relationship the fact that jane thought it was angela was slightly off kilter she is a pain in the ass but angela loves jane and would do anything to save her if necessary but maura is the biggest love of jane and maybe she will soon take that leap of faith with maura otherwise where else can this friendship/relationship they have go
