‘Hell on Wheels’ season 5, episode 8 preview: Return date speculation for AMC gem
Tonight, we have reached the end of the road (or the railroad?) for “Hell on Wheels” this summer, but the great news is that this is far from the end of the road for the series. There are still seven more episodes left, and these will air at some point in 2016.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer too much right now when it comes to specific dates, other than saying that once again, the show will more than likely return in July with more episodes. The one thing that makes the show’s premiere date a little more predictable as of this writing is the mere fact that unlike many other shows that come on the network, this one is a little more independent of its surrounding schedule. Its premiere date will not depend on when some other shows start or end, since it airs on such a unique night in Saturdays. That night has been frustrating to some fans, but at the same time, it has also been a way for the show to stay on the air and keep a devoted fan following for a couple of years.
So how might Cullen Bohannon’s story end? The one thing that do feel is a certainty is that we’ll eventually get to the golden spike, and the joining of the Union Pacific and the Central Pacific. This is the moment in history that really the entire show has been building towards. The mystery comes in the individual characters and what they could do to get to this point.
Throughout the hiatus, our philosophy remains the same: We’re going to post more of the latest news every step of the way.

Lost my loyalty. 7 episodes then nothing for who knows how long. No story is worth being strung out like this. Too many other entertainment options. See ya.

I hope he reunites with his family man, he’s always been dealt a bad hand, it would be good to see him have a happy ending. I prefer him with his family than him with the chinese girl, even tho she’s cute too :)
