‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The Vanessa plan

There is sometimes not a whole lot of logic in writing about “Big Brother” strategy that takes place regarding future weeks, mostly because we tend to see one thing in here: Just how bored people really are. They may say that they are going to do something or make a specific move, but that could go out the window if someone specific wins Head of Household.

For example, if Vanessa rises to power this coming week you better believe that she is going to have every single person (save for maybe Johnny Mac, who doesn’t seem to care that much) campaigning to her and acting like they are super-close. Monday night, the twins, Johnny, Mac, Austin, and Steve were all talking about operating with a strategy of appeasement. Their goal is to just tell her what they want to hear (we’ll see if John actually does this) over the next little while, and then keep her until after the buyback.

Why do that? Their general sentiment is that whoever end up coming into the game is going to have it out for her, and she is a suitable shield. It’s not a terrible plan, but we do think that Austin and the twins specifically need to be thinking now from the vantage point that they need to 100% win the next Head of Household. They are at the point where anyone should be targeting her.

As we said, we’ll see what happened. For now, the plan to evict Becky is still in place.
