‘Ink Master’ season 6, episode 8 preview: A look at the next flash challenge!
Over this season of “Ink Master,” we have definitely seen a wide array of fascinating flash challenges, from working with black-lights to designing the perfect sarcophagus for an Egyptian pharaoh. So what are we going to see on Tuesday night’s new episode?
Composition is the name of the game this time around, and for this flash challenge we’re actually getting a novel concept: Actual tattoos! As crazy as it may sound, this is not exactly something that the show has given us a whole lot of lately. The remaining 11 artists have to come up with a way to commemorate a specific place on their human canvas over the course of four hours, and as the preview video below shows us, some are going to have an easier job with it than others. Dave Clarke in particular has someone who wants Niagara Falls on her postcard, and also wants it on her ribs, one of the hardest places to tattoo.
Everything on this show is typically shown for a reason. Either he manages to convince her to move it, or he has to keep it in that spot and in turn he may struggle to actually get a tattoo out in the allotted time.
Now, let’s talk a little bit about the Taco Bell sponsorship: Hilarious. It really served almost no purpose in the video other than Dave Navarro reminding us that they exist. Yes, we also do find it rather hilarious that a company proclaiming that it wants to “live mas” simultaneously tries to get you to eat a biscuit shaped like a taco.
