‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: All about Booth and Brennan’s eventual return

“Bones” is a show that fundamentally is about two people in Booth and Brennan trying to have some sense of normalcy while also solving complicated cases. While the characters grow and evolve, there are certain parts of the series that will probably never change.

Therefore, one of the main orders of business early on this upcoming 11th season is going to be doing almost anything possible to get these characters back around the Jeffersonian, and doing what so many people love. At first, the main order of business in the October 1 premiere will be finding a missing Booth, but based on what executive producer Jonathan Collier told TV Guide recently, the next order is going to be trying to figure out what sort of challenges coming with bringing these characters back into the fold:

“They didn’t leave work lightly, but this event shows them that they’re doing the right thing … They’re returning to something they love and that fulfills them. But there will be emotional consequences. We’re going to challenge all our characters, but especially Booth and Brennan. There will be events from their past histories that catch up with them.”

In case you have not heard, the second child for the couple is going to be a boy, and taking care of their young family will be a priority for these two even before Booth goes missing. There is a personal reason attached to that, and this is something else we should see in a big way during the premiere.
