‘Ray Donovan’ season 3, episode 6 preview: Will Katie Holmes’ Paige seal the deal?

“Ray Donovan” has definitely went down some crazy directions so far this season, but to see a story about Paige and a football team is really not something we saw coming. Then again, we imagine that this is a part of the fun. The story this season has featured dramatic prison sequences, action, and politics, and some of that will culminate on next week’s new episode, which carries with it the title of “Swing Vote.”

With a name like that, you have to assume that politics are going to be a big deal. The same goes for the dynamic between Paige and Ray that we have seen so far this season, as Ray is going to have to do almost everything that he can in order to ensure Verona’s election day win. If this happens, then he and Paige may be able to push forward with their NFL plans. (Doesn’t it seem appropriate that a show is tackling the mystique surrounding Los Angeles not getting too involved in the NFL?)
