‘Power’ season 2, episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Analyzing the ‘Ghost is Dead’ promo

Before “Power” comes to a close for season 2, you better expect many more revelations to come in the closing minutes.

Starz has not officially put out the promo yet for Saturday’s finale. Some of you probably watched it after it aired last night; if you missed it, you can see it over here right now. We’re going to dive into a couple of things in here that we feel are particularly important.

For one, is Tommy going to go completely rogue now? He has managed to work his way out of prison, and he could be starting to think about a future that does not involve him and Ghost being on the same page. Could he actually go on the offensive? This is Tommy, so we’re not ruling anything out.

One thing that Angela has to realize here is how to come clean over some of her own actions with Ghost, and based on the way in which her discussion is framed in the promo, it is fair to wonder this: Is she holding something back from us?

Finally, let’s talk here about the prospect of an escape. Ghost realized that Angela was aware of his double-identity during Saturday’s episode. Therefore, why would he want to stick around when his choices are either killing to keep the rumors silent, or potentially finding himself in prison? Therefore, he’s considering getting out just as Tasha started to, but it is going to be far more complicated for him. He’ll have to cut ties, and not everyone out there may particularly want that.
