‘Hannibal’ season 3, episode 11 preview: Who offers Mads Mikkelsen’s Dr. Lecter a chance?
It has been admittedly somewhat more difficult to conduct “Hannibal” preview articles as of late, mostly because of the fact that NBC no longer airs promos after their episodes (or they at least haven’t the past two weeks). They do not feel the reason anymore to promote a show that they are dispatching, and are really only continuing to air the episodes mostly as a way to appease some of the show’s longtime fans.
The next new episode is entitled “…And the Beast from the Sea,” and this is going to be in some ways the most intense episode of the season so far as Hannibal may be called on by Alana Bloom of all people to help locate and eradicate Francis Dolarhyde from this world. While Jack and Will know he will strike once more, they do not know where, when, or even how. The synopsis below offers up more insight into what you can expect:
“Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) are certain that Francis Dolarhyde (guest star Richard Armitage) will strike again with the approaching full moon, but without a solid lead, they remain unable to predict the next family on the Red Dragon’s hit list. Certain that Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) can lead the FBI to Dolarhyde, Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) offers Hannibal a chance at redemption. Meanwhile, Dolarhyde struggles with his feelings about the one good thing that remains in his life-his coworker Reba (guest star Rutina Wesley).”
For those curious to see if Francis can be stopped, this is a pivotal hour. Not only that, but it will set events in motion for the final two episodes of the season and potentially the series.
