‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Endurance – Head of Household competition updates! Who will win?
Going into tonight’s “Big Brother” episode, we were told that there was going to be some sort of endurance competition. What we have is the annual “fill up the container with random liquid” challenge. This is one that’s usually really fun to watch, mostly because of all of the various wipeouts.
What we will say right now is that it’s looking like a pretty dumb move to have gotten rid of Clay before this. This competition is usually won by an athletic man, who can cover ground pretty quickly and has a ton of stamina. It’s like the previous endurance typically favors either women or very small men. Someone like Clay could have won this easily. (For the record, Meg’s the picture since she won’t be winning this. No spoilers right away! They’re coming below.)
Live updates are starting now!
7:02 Big Brother time – Waiting for the feeds to start. Our early feeling was that Johnny Mac and Becky were doing pretty well at the time the feeds went down. Steve was faring okay.
7:10 – This is a hard competition sometimes to cover live, since it is not always entirely clear who is in the lead. Right now, early signs point to a little bit of an edge for Becky. Johnny Mac, Steve, and Julia are also solid at the moment.
7:14 – We are currently seeing a race for the worst between Meg and Austin. One has about zero muscle mass, while the other is about 100% muscle mass and zero stamina for this sort of thing.
7:20 – As of right now, we’d say that Becky is still in the lead, but Steve has figured out a smart way to use physics to get some extra liquid over to the bowl. He’s probably gained a little ground.
7:24 – Austin and the twins are at least leading when it comes to wipeouts!
7:31 – Julia is killing it, Becky is doing really well, and everyone is making fun of Meg for being terrible so far.
7:37 – The latest update seems to suggest that this is almost a three-way tie between Julia, Johnny Mac, and Becky. Stamina will be the key here.
7:48 – No enormous changes for the most part in terms of the hierarchy. There’s a clear divide between those with a shot and those without one. We feel for Austin’s surgically-repaired hip.
7:50 – James doing his TV-required one-liners about various events is funny. “Liz is gonna need some new tires after that!” So corny.
7:54 – Becky’s talked so much about being from Colorado, and that may be an asset to her in this challenge. The air is thinner in the state, and training up there could give her a little bit better stamina.
8:00 – We’d reckon right now that Becky has a slight lead.
8:18 – That lead seems to be expanding…
8:31 – Becky is the winner! Also, she got all the prizes. A huge win for Becky, and a game-changer for the rest of the season.
