‘Empire’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Men at Work’ alum to obsess over someone…

Ready for some more of the latest “Empire” casting news?

According to a new report from Deadline, there is a very intriguing new character coming up in Chase One, a man described as “a sexy, gifted, avant-garde gay artist who’s doing a photo shoot, and is infatuated with his male star.” Adam Busch of “Men of Work” fame will play the part, and we like the casting here mostly because it is the show taking a veteran TV actor and giving him a very interesting role that is different than anything he’s done before.

Of course, the question you have to still as yourself here is who exactly Chase is obsessed with. Is it Jamal, Hakeem, or someone else in the cast? There are probably limited candidates here mostly because there are only so many male stars that would be the subject of a photo shoot.

The new season of “Empire” premieres on Wednesday, September 23, and save for Lucious being in prison there is not much in the way of concrete scoop out there about the story. We do at least know that Busch joins a lineup of guest stars that includes at the moment Kelly Rowland, Lenny Kravitz, Chris Rock, Marisa Tomei, and many others who will be surfacing throughout the 18 episodes ahead. The show will begin with at least some sort of time jump, which indicates that we will have a chance to see the new makeup of Empire Entertainment in the wake of the arrest and subsequent power struggle.
