‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: The end of the (random) Stephen Amell – goatee debate?
We really feel like the reasons for this sudden spike of attention are as follows:
1. With Oliver getting a new costume for the first time since the beginning of the show, maybe some felt like a slightly-more-physical makeover was set to happen.
2. Also, remember that Oliver is now going to be going to the Green Arrow. This is more of a comic-book show than ever now that we are getting “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow,” so maybe some felt that there were some other changes that needed to take place, as well. Given that Oliver has that crazy goatee in the comics, why not get him one here?
Ultimately, we are here to confirm that this is very much not happening. Amell confirmed as such on Twitter in response to some speculation, which seemed to come out of an image of him on Facebook that featured a relatively-bushy beard. Maybe this is just something that is a part of his character temporarily … or maybe we are spending too much time thinking about facial hair?
Let’s just hope that this issue is put to bed firmly now, primarily since there are a million or so other things that we really could discuss in future “Arrow” articles, from the relationship to Felicity to what could be coming with some of the show’s villains.

100% no. Never. Our show could go 14 seasons and a goatee will never appear. Hope that clears things up. Forever. https://t.co/pudAfBIhsD
