‘Under the Dome’ season 3, episode 6 preview: Joe and Norrie run into trouble in ‘Caged’
“Under the Dome” season 3 has give us so many different unusual circumstances before, why not go ahead and focus a story on a powerful corporation trying to turn the Dome into an energy source? It may be somewhat strange, but it is one of the many forces driving the next new installment, entitled “Caged.” You’ll get a chance to see more of this one in just a week’s time, and the synopsis below is a great place to start when it comes to scoop on what to expect:
“When Big Jim is captured by Aktaion, the dangerous private corporation that’s descended on Chester’s Mill to harness the Dome’s energy capabilities, he’s forced to manipulate Christine (Marg Helgenberber) for information about her agenda. Also, when Joe and Norrie question the town’s new rules, they find themselves in a dangerous face-off with the increasingly unstable residents.”
Of course we are somewhat worried about Joe and Norrie, but strangely not as worried about Jim. Maybe we have seen so many times at this point what he is capable of that we don’t want to spend a whole lot of time cowering in fear of what he could do next.
The show did something a little bit different tonight. Rather than just airing a promo for next week, they gave us a tease at the rest of the season that included everything from meteor showers to claims that the dome is actually some sort of way for everyone to feel protected. Not so sure about that part.
