‘Empire’ season 2 poster focuses on Taraji P. Henson, Terence Howard, big cats
You better believe that you are going to be seeing a whole lot of “Empire” over the course of the months ahead, maybe more even than some advertising outlets know what to do with.
Fox realizes at this point just how big of a smash hit that they have with the show. It drew some of the biggest ratings that the network has seen in years, and to go along with that it also has critical acclaim and social-media buzz on its side. Given that the whole summer will have gone by in order to get more and more people aboard the show, that means that there could be expectations to get even larger numbers when the second season airs on September 23.
The new poster for the show below really seems to emphasize one thing above all else: It’s good to be the king and queen. Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) may even feel somewhat like she is the queen based on where we saw her at the end of season 1. She has a chance to seize even more control of Empire Entertainment now that Lucious (Terence Howard) is behind bars.
With that being said, is anything going to go according to plan? For the time being, we’d say that this is one of the biggest cliffhangers entering the season, and something that will have to be sorted out as the second season is going to begin with Lucious behind bars. The guest cast is set to include Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Marisa Tomei, and a variety of other big names.
