‘Royal Pains’ season 7, episode 8 (finale) spoilers: Is Hank still in love with an ex?

It is certainly sad, but it does not make it any less true: We are almost near the end of the road for “Royal Pains” this season. Next week is the finale, but at least we’re getting some indications that the USA series is going to go out with so much more of a bang than a whimper. Divya is at a crossroads after her romantic plans fell through tonight, Evan and Paige are closer to adoption, and we’re going to be seeing Hank consider whether or not he has let get completely of his ex-fiance, who really has not been a factor in the show since the very beginning.

The title for the finale is “Lending a Shoulder” (a pretty sweet name for the hour really), and you can see some more news in terms of what to expect via the synopsis below:

“Hank runs into his ex-fiance Nikki and has a startling revelation. Evan and Paige help Elán through her labor and learn their first tough lesson about being parents. After suffering a devastating loss, Divya envisions a new future for her career and family.”

Just in case you are finding yourselves extremely worried about the show’s future, don’t be! “Royal Pains” was already renewed for an eighth season of equal length. It is possible that this could be the final season in 2016, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.
