‘Ray Donovan’ season 3, episode 2 preview: Ray, Katie Holmes’ Paige, and what lies ahead

Did you enjoy the premiere of Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” Sunday night? It was a different sort of premiere and a different sort of Ray than what we’ve seen before, and these are things that you can continue to

One particular story thread that you can expect to see more of is the appearance of Katie Holmes throughout the season. She is one of the series’ more high-profile guest stars, and both her Paige and Ian McShane as Andrew Finney. They are going to continue to involve Ray in their operations, but what comes out of it remains to be seen. The synopsis for next week’s new episode entitled “Ding” can be seen below, but we have to warn you now that this is hardly going to be particularly revealing:

“Paige Finney calls Ray to protect a quarterback; Lena considers quitting.”

Is this quarterback story going to be procedural? At this point with the show, we’ve come to learn not to expect anything.

The promo below features that it was Paige who calls Ray directly, and has no regard as to whether or not Andrew even knows about it. It sets up a really interesting dynamic for the two of them, and to go along with that, there are some other interesting teases in here. Not bad for a clip that only lasts for a short period of time! We’ll have more throughout the week.
