‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ spoilers: Emma Roberts not necessarily gone
Thanks to her being one of the main cast members on the upcoming Fox horror-comedy “Scream Queens,” Emma Roberts does understand that it would be easy to write off her as someone not appearing on the upcoming season of “American Horror Story.” However, to do that may end up being a mistake.
As Roberts herself revealed during the show’s panel discussion at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday, it is very well possible that she could end up surfacing on the FX series at some point before it ends. Sure, the odds are slim that she will have a major presence, but clearly she enjoys the show and has a great relationship with producer guru Ryan Murphy. “Scream Queens” will be her focus, and her character of Chanel is one of the most noteworthy of that series.
Given that “Hotel” is really just now in the early stages of production, the focus really was not on the new season very much. The actors (which included Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, and others) were not allowed to say much, and most of the focus went instead to discussing highlights from “American Horror Story: Freak Show.”
The new season will premiere on FX in October, and if we know the network and their promotional strategy at this point, we would assume that you are probably going to be seeing some sort of appearance or two of the iconic teasers on the network by the end of August. FX knows how to promote this series better than anyone.
