‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: First details on Booth, Brennan’s big changes

Bones -At the end of season 10 of “Bones,” Booth and Brennan came to a big decision that after so many years of solving cases at the Jeffersonian and putting themselves in harm’s way, it may be time to do something a little bit different with their lives. Can you really blame them? They may want to have a change, and also an opportunity for a little bit of happiness without at the same time the relentless danger that surrounds them at almost every second.

Of course, here’s the crazy thing: How long can they really stay away? Our guess is not long, given that Fox is going to want to use that massive Jeffersonian set and the show really wants to reunite the cast. Based on the recently-released synopsis for season 11, this is going to happen not too long into the run of the show:

“Picking up six months after the Season 10 finale, Brennan and Booth have moved on to a new town and new jobs, having given up their old life and settled into a blissful death-free existence. But a murder unlike any other draws them back to investigate with their former colleagues at the Jeffersonian and FBI.”

Fox is for the time being not saying whether or not season 11 is going to be the last for the series, but if we were to speculate a little bit on the subject right now, our answer would be “probably.” All things do eventually come to an end, and this is a show that has had a really long run. The ratings are a little lower than they used to be, but rest assured that if this is the final season, the writers will probably have a great chance to craft a cool ending.
