Fox fall premiere dates: ‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3, ‘Bones’ season 11 start a week late
For the most part, Fox’s upcoming fall schedule is almost to a T precisely what you would expect from it. You’ve got the already-announced run of shows coming on, and because of baseball dominating the schedule in late October, the network really does not have that much room be flexible with their premiere dates.
Ultimately, there’s only one move that we find somewhat surprising in here, and that is waiting until the start of October to launch the new seasons of “Bones” and “Sleepy Hollow.” Then again, this makes a little sense in that it gives Emily Deschanel an extra week or so of maternity leave, so she does not have to be back to work until a little later this summer.
Take a full look at the schedule below. Note that all times listed are Eastern Standard.
Monday, September 21
8:00 – Gotham
9:00 – Minority Report
Tuesday, September 22
8:00 – Scream Queens (special time)
Wednesday, September 23
8:00 – Rosewood (new drama)
9:00 – Empire
Sunday, September 27
7:30 – Bob’s Burgers
8:00 – The Simpsons
8:30 – Brooklyn Nine-Nine
9:00 – Family Guy
9:30 – The Last Man on Earth
Tuesday, September 29
8:00 – Grandfathered (new comedy)
8:30 – Grinder (new comedy)
Thursday, October 1
8:00 – Bones
9:00 – Sleepy Hollow
Friday, November 6
8:00 – MasterChef Junior
9:00 – World’s Funniest
The lineup that we are probably the most concerned about for now is Tuesdays, if for no other reason than that the network is really in the midst of a slump there. While “Scream Queens” does have a lot of hype around it right now, remember that “Glee” was not exactly a hit series at the time it ended and this is far from a guaranteed win.
