‘Masters of Sex’ season 3 video: Michael Sheen on Bill’s journey

While you may not see the season 3 premiere of “Masters of Sex” until it airs on Showtime next month, the network is still being rather kind at the moment when it comes to handing out some of the first details on the story coming up, and some of the changes that are befalling many of its characters.

Let us spend our time here with Dr. William Masters, largely because almost everything in the series revolves around him. There would be no study without him, just as there would not be nearly as many problems or fractions when it comes to relationships. Everything for better or worse would be so much easier to digest and figure out.

In the video below, you can see a little bit of what Michael Sheen has to say about the arc of his character’s story at the moment, and some of why he took this role in the first place. This is a man changing under enormous circumstances. He is suddenly finding both him and his research partner / love Virginia Johnson celebrities, and they have to start to handle the status that comes with that. At the same time, he is also still married to Libby, and there are still various dynamics that are a part of their relationship. There is constantly a love triangle present here, but it is never in the same cheesy form as what you would see in a teen drama.

While you may have a certain extent of knowledge when it comes to how this story ends (remember that it is based on truth), the producers have given them a certain degree of flexibility. Therefore, many things could still change!
