James Corden, Iggy Azalea take part in altest ‘Carpool Karaoke’

While James Corden is still somewhat in the early stages of figuring things out with “The Late Late Show” franchise, we do give him some credit right now when it comes to one particular recurring sketch: “Carpool Karaoke.” Every time that we’ve seen the man do it, it leads to some pretty comical results. It’s a chance to get people to embarrass themselves in a great way, and most of the stars featured have been pretty game to play along in one form or another.

One of the latest people to take part here is Iggy Azalea, and if you look below, you can see the “Fancy” rapper have a little bit of fun while also dishing on her personal life and upcoming wedding to basketball star Nick Young. Eventually, this leads to the two visiting a wedding boutique and trying on dresses. Yep … both of them. Apparently, there is still humor in the “getting a guy to wear a wedding dress” gag. Then again, Corden does a good job of making almost anything lighthearted fun. He also lets the star breathe a little bit. His show captures some of the fun of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” but also at the same time he gets a little more of a personal discussion going, which we saw sometimes on Craig Ferguson’s version of “The Late Late Show.”

In the end, let’s not analyze this too heavily. It’s just a fun video to kick off your weekend.

Now, we’re left to wonder who could be the next star to take on the karaoke challenge…
