‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, and ‘Mother’s Mercy’

Dany -The finale of “Game of Thrones” is just a mere matter of a week away, now, and we have a feeling that it is going to be just as emotionally trying at times as what we saw tonight in “A Dance of Dragons.” “Mother’s Mercy” is the name of the episode, and many of the early details suggest that we could see some characters in difficult places. Also, we know already that one of the most-famous scenes from the George R.R. Martin book series will be in the episode at some point. We already know that it was filmed.

Before we do too much else at the moment, let’s go ahead and share the official synopsis for this episode via HBO … even if it is one of the shortest ones we have seen in some time:

“Stannis marches. Dany is surrounded by strangers. Cersei (Lena Headey) seeks forgiveness. Jon is challenged.”

The reason that Dany is “surrounded by strangers” more than likely ties into the sole fact that she is currently aboard the back of a dragon flying to destinations unknown. Could she try all of this again in King’s Landing? Meanwhile, Cersei is currently trapped within prison, pondering what her future could hold.

As for Stannis, we pretty much hate him at the moment over what happened to Shireen. We’d almost rather keep Tommen on the throne forever than to see him end up with it. Yes, this is a rash, emotional judgment based on tonight’s episode, but still.
