‘Suits’ season 5 spoilers: Gabriel Macht teases a more pensive Harvey Specter

Waiting is no fun. Any fan of “Suits” can agree to that at the moment. We’re almost three weeks away from the season 5 premiere of the USA hit, and there are many questions still lingering in the air when it comes to everything from Mike and Rachel’s relationship to how Jessica moves forward after the Jeff Malone saga.

For the time being, though, one of the largest cliffhangers is still what Harvey Specter is going to do now that Donna has decided that she would rather work for Louis Litt, someone who made a passionate plea to win her over at the end of last season, going so far as to even say that she knows him better than he knows himself. Harvey’s obviously not going to be happy, and he may need to do a little bit of soul-searching in order to figure out why he couldn’t give Donna the love that she wanted from him.

Speaking to E! News about the new season, this is something that Gabriel Macht himself teases with the following:

“There’s a lot going on this season. Donna is not really working for Harvey anymore, she’s working for this guy, Louis … Harvey’s having a hard time with the element of abandonment, he’s in therapy, he’s trying to get in touch with his emotions more so now than ever.”

Let’s say that Harvey finally gets in touch with his feelings in the way that most fans actually want him to. Is that still going to be enough? It’s hard to undo heartache, and while Donna may not admit to it, she may have felt some of that with Harvey’s attitude last season:
