‘Heroes: Reborn’ spoilers: Dylan Bruce jumps over from ‘Orphan Black’
Warning: The article below contains some spoilers from “Orphan Black” season 3. You’ve been warned…
Well, it did not take very long at all for Dylan Bruce to find himself some new employment following his time on “Orphan Black.” His character of Paul was killed off on Saturday night’s new episode in heroic fashion (it’s nice to actually declare the character as some sort of a hero), and he is jumping over almost immediately to another genre franchise. According to a new report from Deadline, Bruce will recur on “Heroes: Reborn,” the revival of the NBC series from Tim Kring, which will premiere on the network in early fall. As with many other announced castings, details about the specific role are being kept a secret.
This is actually the second major superhero-themed show to use Bruce, as he also recurred on the second season of “Arrow” as one of the fellow lawyers to Laurel Lance in the District Attorney’s office. On this show, it is possible that he could actually be a person with powers.
Bruce joins a lengthy roster for this show that also includes “Chuck” alum Zachary Levi and Robbie Kay of “Once Upon a Time” fame. To the credit of Kring and casting, they have assembled a good many favorites from other shows to appear here! They also are bringing back some original favorites such as Jack Coleman, Masi Oka, and Greg Grunberg for stints of their own. Coleman is likely to be the only regular from the three we just mentioned.
We imagine that there are going to be some other stories about “Heroes: Reborn” out there before the show returns to the air, so be on the lookout for some of those!
