‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Meet Bradley Cox, one-time tennis pro

Bradley CoxWe have to admit something here: We are insanely curious about fashion choices for contestants on “The Bachelorette” for these promotional photo shoots. Who chooses them? We’re going to get into this a little bit later, but it feels like Bradley Cox may have dressed up thinking that something else is going on here. He stands out for being a tad too formal, and for some reason he reminds us already of a young Jon Cryer.

Below, we’re going to give you what is at least our superficial impression of Bradley as a contestant this season. Let us be clear, though: There are no spoilers ahead! You are going to have a chance to read these with confidence. Also, there is potential here for us to be royally wrong, and that always leads to hilarity.

Name – Bradley Cox

Age – 25

Location – Atlanta, Georgia

Occupation – International Auto Shipper. Admittedly, we have zero idea what that is.

First Impression – We really don’t know that much about him. It took some time for us to even figure out that “Cox” was the guy’s last name. Apparently he at one point tried to be a professional tennis player, so maybe he’ll cause … a racket in the house? Yes, we’re disappointed in ourselves for including that as well. He seems reasonably quiet as far as social media goes.

Worst Impression – Here is Bradley explaining who he’d want to be for a day: “Play an NFL game in Tom Brady’s shoes. Get a taste of what a primetime football game would be like — then go home to Gisele.” Is not really the best time for the Tom Brady hero worship? Yes, we know that this was probably written before the suspension and all that, but it’s still funny to us.

Also, Bradley seems to say in the bio that he wants to be pursued. Good luck with that on this show.

Prediction – Bradley’s promotional photo makes us think that he is taking this probably a little too much like a job interview, so we can’t see the guy really relaxing or impressing long enough to last. Gone within the first two or three episodes.
