‘Ink Master’ season 6: Masters vs Apprentices spotlight: Big Ceeze vs Kito Talbert
With a name like Big Ceeze we expect big things to come from him. That being said Kito might be the biggest person we’ve ever seen on “Ink Master”! The guy is a giant at 6’7, with an epic beard to match and we are pretty sure he has superpowers stored away in that beard. But will being “big” translate into tattoos that will crush the competition? There are some heavy hitters here this year with a lot of experience behind them… even many of the apprentices have ten years or more experience! This could easily be one of the best seasons of “Ink Master” we’ve had in a long time with this kind of talent on the show and we have high hopes for Big Ceeze and Kito.
As big and scary as these two men are, it still all comes down to skill. Do either Big Ceeze or Kito have what it takes to win the title and roll around on that giant pile of cash at the end of this madness? Let’s take a deeper look.
The Master: Big Ceeze
Tattooing: He has been tattooing for 17 years an is an owner and artist at Mi Familia Tattoo in Anaheim, CA. His style is black and grey realism and he has some pretty impressive pieces in his portfolio. If you want realism, this is your guy!

The Apprentice: Kito Talbert
Tattooing: He has been tattooing for 10 years and is an owner and artist at Fidolo Tattoo, Tulsa, OK. He loves tattooing fine line black and grey and he really knows his stuff. If you have a chance to check out the video below to see some of what he’s done, we highly recommend it – his stuff is beautiful and delicate.

Kito vs Big Ceeze: They seem to have a good spirited rivalry from what we see in the video below, but Chris still feels that he’s going to beat him in this competition, because he thinks that Kito isn’t versatile enough to win – which is possible since we’ve seen that be a downfall in the past. That being said we’ve seen other artists that specialize in black and grey win this competition (like Shane O’Neill from season 1), but at the same time, when it was time to bust out color, Shane brought his “A” game teaching us that just because you don’t like working with color, doesn’t mean you’re not a boss at it. In this match up we have our money on Kito, but we think it will be very close competition between these two the whole way through and we can’t wait to see them battle it out.
Do you think that Kito can take down his master Big Ceeze and do you think either of these artists are going to win “Ink Master” season 6?
