‘Reign’ season 2 finale spoilers: ‘Burn,’ and Queen Elizabeth’s arrival
It has been no secret that Queen Elizabeth was going to have an enormous role in the “Reign” season finale. Even still, isn’t there a certain amount of power and intrigue that actually comes from seeing the woman on the show? We like to think so.
Queen Elizabeth is going to be in some ways the main event of the finale episode “Burn” airing next week, and she will be tied very much into a story with Catherine. One thing that you should not forget here is that the show has huge plans for this character (played by Rachel Skarsten). Based on what we here, she is going to be an important part of season 3 to go along with what we have now. How else could you implement someone who is long thought of as one of the most famous rulers of all time?
If you have not seen the synopsis for this big episode yet, take a look at the very informative synopsis below:
“Mary (Adelaide Kane) risks everything to take down Condé (Sean Teale), even as Francis (Toby Regbo) believes she is turning against France. Catherine (Megan Follows) makes a bold move and meets with Queen Elizabeth (guest star Rachel Skarsten) in a stunning plot to seek revenge on Mary. Meanwhile, Kenna (Caitlin Stasey) has a secret that will seal the fate of her relationship with Bash (Torrance Coombs).”
Will someone die? You have to consider that; then again, with this being a finale you really have to consider almost anything.

Great episode. And I agree, I don’t think Mary is pregnant. Did you hear the line – True love is always there. I think Conde will try to kill Francis and Mary will get in the way and be hurt. That would work to bring Francis and Mary back together. At least that’s the way I would write it.

i really believe that mary isnt pregnant, GENIUS PLAN THOUGH MARY, i love that she’s faking a pregnancy to lure in Conde, you can tell that the pregnancy is fake by this week’s promo syaing Mary will go to extreme measures to stop Conde, and the tenderness between Mary and Francis in this episode killed me, before realizing that she was faking the pregnancy, i felt that they could get back together and then i lost all hope with her being pregnant, but now i know its fake and im so happy, i feel like Mary and Francis might have a chance now

Great episode and I agree with you 100%, I dont believe Mary is pregnant (the first to know would be Cat) and if she and Francis have learned anything he is aware of where she is and what she is doing! Now on the other hand with mommy dearest he will not be happy when he finds out she goes to Elizabeth perhaps Lola and Narcisse may have a happy ending together after all
