‘The Good Wife’ season 6 finale spoilers: Future in doubt for Julianna Margulies’ Alicia
The season 6 finale of “The Good Wife” is only a matter of a week away now, and there is definitely one word we can use to describe it right now: Ambiguity. In the wake of both the State’s Attorney scandal and also the departure of Kalinda, the series has more of a chaotic future than it has really since the beginning of the show.
Hopefully, the finale (entitled “Wanna Partner?”) is going to help in many ways to determine some of what that future could be. Expect some twists and turns, but also at least one more turn from Archie Panjabi on the series. It has already been confirmed that she will be surfacing at least one more time before we make it to the end of season 6.
Take a look at the synopsis for this episode now below:
“Alicia’s professional future hangs in the balance as she decides what’s next for her career. Meanwhile, when Alicia gets a suspicious call from a client, she discovers that he’s being held in a secret police facility where people are detained without being officially booked.”
Tonight, we got a sense that Alicia’s future at the moment involves her getting the opportunity to start her own firm, which is why she is going to be recruiting Finn to join her. There is still no word just yet on if he will accept. If he doesn’t, who else will she try to recruit? We know that Kalinda has a role here to play, but we do not quite know yet just what this role is.
