‘Bones’ season 10, episode 16 preview: Brennan vs. children’s music
If there is one thing that Brennan knows very well, it is the human anatomy. You couldn’t name the show “Bones” otherwise. Therefore, the idea that she would have a problem about with a classic children’s song about where bones are connected should not come as a surprise to anyone.
The sneak peek below comes from Tuesday night’s new episode entitled “The Big Beef at the Royal Diner,” and it is fun in its simplicity. Also, it reminds us just how much Christine takes after her mother, which makes for great comedy in some ways. Take, for example, the fact that she does not recognize Mickey Mouse pancakes for what they are, and instead decides to claim that they are a part of the anatomy instead. If Brennan was not there and this was an ordinary family, we’re sure that the parents would pass out with the amount of knowledge she already has.
As in true fashion for “Bones” and any other crime show of this nature, though, the two are interrupted by a call that instructs them that they are needed for a crime scene. Notice how it is never the heroes calling other people to it? They always seem to be brought in after something has happened and their expertise is needed.
This case in particular should be intriguing, especially since at one point one of Booth and Brennan’s favorite eateries becomes involved in a way in which these two characters probably will not like. We’ll have to see what happens come Thursday night.
