‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Is an Alicia / Kalinda scene coming?

This past episode of “The Good Wife” was more than likely a painful one for any and all Kalinda fans. You’ve come to love her over the years, but you had to face the possibility of saying goodbye to her completely Sunday, and in the most abrupt way possible: Cary found nothing other than an empty apartment, while Alicia found nothing other than a letter.

If you missed it, we already reported that you would be seeing Kalinda at least one more time before the season comes to a close, and to go along with that now we come bearing this: When you do see her once again, you will actually be seeing her in the same room as Alicia Florrick! This glorious news was reported this week by E! News, which is something that has been years in the making. It does make some sense that bad things would become of their relationship after what happened in the past, but given their close professional proximity, you would think that they would community in a way other than phone calls on-camera. It just has not happened yet.

At least you can take this as another bit of awareness on the producers’ part that this is something many longtime fans want to see. Ultimately, just think of it as another way to see there being some definite closure to Kalinda. There is no changing the fact that the character is leaving, but you want to make the exit fitting so that you feel like she got her due. This is true even more so when you remember that this is an Emmy-winning performance by Archie Panjabi.

There is only one confirmed appearance of Kalinda in the final two episodes; ultimately, we will just have to see what happens.
