‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 22 preview: ‘Category 5’ serves us Jesse Spencer story

Chicago Fire -Next week’s new “Chicago Fire” episode will bring us closer to the finale, and what may be a surprise to many of you out there is that it is still another crossover coming to a certain degree. You will get a little chance about what we mean when “Category 5” airs next week. (Note: We know that it would make some sense to some to preview the next part of the crossover, but given how many of those are out there already, we wanted to craft something specific for those who really watch this show and don’t really care about the others.)

To get some specifics about what is coming, including Severide and Otis getting into a disagreement, take a look at the synopsis below:

“At Sgt. Voight’s (guest star Jason Beghe) urging, a determined Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) agrees to go undercover in an effort to provide proof of Jack Nesbitt’s (guest star Eric Mabius) shady dealings. Meanwhile, Otis (Yuri Sardarov) and Severide (Taylor Kinney) continue to disagree about the integrity of Scott Rice (guest star Warren Christie), causing tensions to flare between members of truck and squad. Meanwhile, Herrmann (David Eigneberg) helps out a fellow member of the firehouse.”

By the end of this episode, everything may be set in motion for the finale. Will we have any surprises? We have to believe so, though the one thing we still feel is beyond the realm of possibility is a character death at this point. That’s happening on “Chicago PD,” and this is a series that has already lost Shay this season.
