‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: Mimi Rogers to appear in final two episodes
As we start to wind down towards the end of “NCIS” season 12, it only seems appropriate that we’d find out a thing or two more in the process about who is going to be appearing. That is why we bring you the news today about Mimi Rogers.
As reported by TVLine, Rogers, whose credits include the likes of “Bosch,” “The X-Files,” and “Two and a Half Men” as Walden’s mother, will be appearing in the last two episodes of the season. Unfortunately, there is not a whole lot else known about her for now, which hopefully to us means that this character should have at least some sort of substantial role to play. We know that cyber-crime will be a common thread in many of the final episodes, as we start to understand more and more of what the NCIS team is facing. It will be a different sort of threat than usual, but one that is still nonetheless extremely dangerous.
The only unfortunate thing is that we’re going into the end of the 12th season without an official renewal yet. We’re pretty sure that one is coming, but why not go ahead and present us with that? Why the holdup? We have not heard a whole lot about contractual issues slowing it down.
We’ve said this before, but it also bears repeating that it would be great to have an action-packed cliffhanger this season that is the complete alternative of the emotional “Honor thy Father” from season 11. We always find it good for finales to reverse course every season.

Personally, I hate cliffhangers! I’m the kind of person who finshes what I start. At this point, I don’t care if Ziva returns or not, I just want Bishop gone. Put a grown-up in there instead. People are saying Tony didn’t get enough show time. He has dominated over McGee since the beginning. Give the McGee character his due. He is a good actor. I think people just haven’t noticed that Tony has finally grown up. They all have. They used to act like children in kindergarten for Pete’s sake; not agents or special agents or very special agents. I would like to see the Borin character return in Bishop’s place. Please do not bring Jamie Lee Curtis back!

I can’t believe season 12 is winding down. It’s been a great one where each character had had a lot of screen time. I’m for lots of Gibbs action!

I wonder if Mimi Rogers is working with Ziva? I wonder if Ziva is going to show up? That would be exciting.

Maybe Mimi Rogers is coming to tell the team that Ziva was the one killed overseas and that’s the devastating and emotional loss talked about…

I hope it is not Ziva.

I read that Mimi Rogers will be playing some kind of CIA agent. I just hope Tony actually gets to do something exciting and significant in the finale. I really don’t want to see McGibbs getting all the excitement, danger, and drama. That’s all we’ve seen all season.

We’ve never seen Tim’s mom. Could Mimi Rogers perhaps be his mom? Oops! Just read on TV-Line that Ms. Rogers will be a CIA Agent. Would still like to see Tim’s mom in an episode. The other thing I would like to see before this show wraps up is Abby’s apartment. Tim could come to visit. lol

One reason could be that they have decided that Season 13 will be the last for the show so they want to make a big production of that. Another reason may be that not everyone will be returning next season and they don’t want to tip their hand before the season finale. It is my understanding that they will announce show renewals a day or two before CBS upfronts.

I think it’s possible that Season 13 will be their last and if they announce that now, it might take away from the apparent big cliffhanger we are supposed to be getting that will involve the death of a team member. I still think it’s Ned Dorneget that will die but if Season 13 is their last, not much is stopping them from killing Ziva off. Someone had told me that they still like to go out with big ratings during the final season of a show and if they kill Ziva off, it will not be good for ratings. I’m assuming we will hear about Season 13 being renewed no later than early May. I’m just curious of what the details will be for next season.

Honestly, if this season finale plays out as it seems like it will – the super Gibbs with woobie SIC McGee show, and a barely significant butt monkey Tony, this season is my last. The agenda is clear – feature and flatter Gibbs, replace Tony with newly ordained second most awesome McGee, and keep Tony around so he can figuratively and literally fall in the dumpster week after week.

I understand your frustration with Tony this whole Season. He really has been made to look like a joke all year. He was supposed to have the finale centered on him last year but then Ralph White died so they made it about Gibbs and his dad, which I understand but they could of made it about him this year. They could of made it up to him this way. I can’t imagine MW is happy about this but he still has one more year with this show. Look at his Twitter. People have pointed out and I have noticed that he hardly tweets about the show anymore. Only if he has to, it seems but it’s more about his family. I can’t blame him. There’s not much to Tweet about. Hopefully he will be done with all this crap when his contract is up. FYI, you should always be allowed to have your opionion. We may not have always agreed but don’t let anyone tell you any different. I can’t stand when people try to tell you how to feel.
