‘Bones’ season 10, episode 11 preview: Cyndi Lauper shines in new sneak peek

After months and months of waiting, “Bones” is going to be returning to Fox on Thursday night with new episodes. The show has been off the air for so long at this point, it actually feels at this point like we are watching a separate season premiere.

Tomorrow night’s new episode is entitled “The Psychic in the Soup,” and when you consider that a medium is murdered at some point during the episode, should you really be that shocked that Avalon Harmonia is on the scene? Here’s a hint: You really shouldn’t be. This is the sort of thing that she does so well! Of course, that does not mean that either Booth or Brennan is pleased to see her there, doing her best impression of Patrick Jane or Shawn Spencer. To be honest, we’re frequent members of team Avalon, and we would be more than fine to watch a spin-off starring Cyndi Lauper all about her antics.

There are going to be some more serious moments during this episode, as well. With the birthday of Sweets coming up, this will give you a chance to see the characters reflect, and remember their dear friend who died at the start of the season. We really appreciate the show for not just sweeping this death under the rug. This would have been in many ways the easy thing for them to do, and we’re therefore rather thrilled that they are not going in that direction.
