‘Community’ season 6, episode 3 preview: City College’s latest strategy revealed
It’s been a while since the evil-doers over at City College have caused any sort of chaos on “Community,” so with that in mind, isn’t it time to talk about their antics for a minute or two? They are the subject of the latest promo for Tuesday night’s new episode on Yahoo Screen, and on this particular occasion, it does feel to a certain level that they have quite a legal leg to stand on. After all, this does traditionally happen when you give a degree to a dog.
Frankie Dart’s reaction to this news is rather priceless, mostly because this is the same sort of reaction that almost any sane person would have given the situation. Why in the world would a rational human being do something like this? Maybe under mind-control, or a manipulation in the brain caused by watching way too much Inspector Spacetime. Or, you’re just Dean Pelton and you are not a rational human being.
Also, apparently there is a taco in the file cabinets for some of Greendale’s past degree recipients. Seems about right.
While we do still understand for the most part why there is skepticism over a new character like Frankie, the reason we like her so is that she almost serves a great bridge between the world of Greendale and the real world. She’s been outside of it recently enough that she recognizes that things don’t quite make sense anymore. Jeff Winger used to be that voice, but he is almost too far gone now after being both a student and a teacher at the institution. Meanwhile, folks like Britta and Abed were never fully there to begin with. Don’t even get us started on Chang.
