‘House of Lies’ season 4, episode 10 preview: Marty’s new problem; Clyde, Doug’s competition

“House of Lies” season 4 to us is quickly establishing itself as the funniest season to date, mostly because we are starting to actually get a grasp on who some of these people truly are. Marty Kaan, for example, is addicted to success; meanwhile, all Doug and Clyde seem to want at the moment is appreciation. They are just willing to put themselves in some extremely humiliating situations in order to make that happen. Take a look at some of the sneak peeks below for evidence of all of these things.

1. Marty and Denna’s conversation – Marty Kaan was forced to rely on Denna earlier this season in order to help him take down Ellis Hightower. At the time, this was nothing short of a tremendous win for him. However, that’s changing now that Denna wants things from him. Specifically, she wants to ensure that Marty assisting Shag Burger turns out to be a disaster. She has work coming for McDonald’s, and if this competitor decides to go national, this could mean some trouble for her. (Also, nice way of implying McDonald’s in this video without actually saying the name itself.)

2. Clyde and Doug’s competition – Is Kelsey apparently now the Bachelorette or something? We loved the idea of these two guys going for the same woman when it started to happen, and it’s now pretty much hilarious. These two guys are really putting themselves out there for her, and are even going so far as to kiss her in competition in front of each other. While this is completely insane and probably not that realistic, seeing Marty’s face after witnessing all of this happen made the entire scene worth it.

Also, there is a zero percent change of this ending well.
