‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5, episode 20 preview: A Grover story; Danny trapped with a dead body

Hawaii Five-0 -Hawaii Five-0” has itself a massive episode order for its current fifth season, and it feels like one of the reasons why it has secured this is rather simple: The show is managing to continue to mix things up when it comes to letting some of its supporting characters take the lead for an episode. This lightens the load somewhat on some of the leads, and that makes it easier to stay at work for a long time.

You are going to have to wait until April 3 for the next episode, entitled “Ike Hānau” (“Instinct”), to air. What we can give you now are some specifics that make it clear that Chi McBride’s character of Grover is going to be in the spotlight for most of the hour:

“When Grover’s oldest and closest friend tells him he witnessed his wife fall off a cliff to her death, Grover’s gut instinct tells him that this was no accident.  Also, Danny and Dr. Shaw get trapped in an elevator with a dead body in need of processing.”

Obviously, we want to hope that this actually is not going to be as terrible as it sounds for Grover, and much of that may be due to the fact that there are already a million or so terrible things that these characters have gone through already this season. Why would you want to force them to go through something more? Compared to what Danny went through with his brother Matt, being stuck in an elevator with a dead person really is not all that hard of a test at all.
