ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 16 video: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and … an alien?
Do you love it when “Castle” gets a little bit supernatural? Okay, while the show is never truly one where aliens and other such creatures exist, part of the show’s fun is that Castle always thinks that they do. His conspiracy theories are a real driving point for the show, especially for some of the more humor-based episodes like Monday night’s “The Wrong Stuff.”
The first thing that we should comment on is the attached image, which appears to be almost a combination of “Mass Effect” and a past Nathan Fillion series in “Firefly” at the same time. Wonderfully exciting, no? Well, the story revolves around a mission-to-Mars sort of space program that Castle and Beckett must investigate … and Rick thinks that an alien is involved. Based on the sneak peek below, there may be some evidence to back it up!
Also in this preview, we hilariously learn that Stana Katic’s character had actually signed up for the program at one point a year ago, when the two were engaged in a fight. We love that the show is bringing up her love of science fiction again, given how it brings us back to “The Final Frontier,” which to us is probably one of our top five favorite episodes.
This episode hopefully will do enough to entertain you, since it will be the last one that you have for at least a few weeks. After this one comes off the air, ABC has the finale of “The Bachelor” to get to along with some necessary repeats to ensure the show makes it to May with only 23 episodes.

Not counting episode 16 tomorrow there will remain 7 episodes to cover 12 Mondays (including May 18 and assuming this will be the date of the last episode for the season). So it looks like we will have almost one rerun for each of the remaining episodes. Does not sound too exciting for me since it seems as though I have already seen seasons 1 – 6 reruns watching TNT. Anyone want to buy the DVD’s of seasons 1 – 6 because I do not want to see the episodes 3 times and that does not include the times I have watched highlights of each of the episodes on YouTube. Looks like I will have to revise my priorities for buying DVD’s of TV programs.
